Island greetings and welcome (back)!

It was almost two years ago that I wrote and posted my last blog entry on being grateful. While the journey didn’t end, I will admit to many “two steps forward, three steps back” moments. Being human has a way of catching up with us when we sometimes least expect it.

The last 24 months have been chock-full of events... family ups and downs... a new boss... a promotion... friendships of the enduring, new and terminated garden varieties... infatuation, love and heart break... new interests... cool travels... big and small personal/professional successes and failures... acknowledging strengths and weaknesses... and, endeavouring to spread my wings.

The constant has been change. A very good friend reminded over lunch last week that change is inevitable but also profitable for it is change that spurs on growth and learning. There are many experiences, discoveries, people, places, things, events, etc., to be grateful for, both in the recent past and in the not-so-distant future. And hopefully, learning from the past will provide valuable insight for what lays ahead.

The old blog has been taken down, its entries archived and kept. There are no plans for recycling those posts.

As the journey continues, I look forward to chronicling and sharing some of it with you... again. :)
